MANU NATIONAL PARK – PERU AMAZONIA:

In this huge 1.5 million hectare park, successive levels of vegetation rise from tropical forest plains at 350m through the mountain cloud forest to tall grasslands above 4,000m. Its forests are home to some of the greatest biodiversity on the continent with at least 860 species of rare birds and animals such as the giant otter, the giant armadillo and the jaguar.
